Dear Avalon Celtics Members,

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Jeremy Bishop as the new Executive Director of the Avalon Celtics Minor Hockey Association. Jeremy brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for hockey, making him an excellent addition to our team.

Jeremy has decades of experience as an ice hockey and ball hockey coach, as well as a player. His dedication to helping athletes achieve their highest potential is evident through his impressive career. Jeremy has held various coaching positions, including Assistant Coach for the U13 AAA Eastern Hitmen, Head Coach for the U17 NL Selects National Team, and Technical Director for the Corner Brook Minor Hockey Association. His extensive experience in developing and implementing effective coaching strategies has consistently led to improved player skills and team performance.

In addition to his coaching roles, Jeremy has demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills. He has successfully managed and coordinated on-ice practices, designed comprehensive fitness programs, and provided individualized feedback to players. His ability to analyze player statistics and game footage has enabled him to make data-driven decisions that enhance team strategies and performance.

Jeremy’s achievements extend beyond coaching. On the ice he has won both the Herder and Allan cups. He is a decorated ball hockey player as well, having won multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals at provincial, national, and world levels. As a member of Team Canada Men’s Ball Hockey, Jeremy has been recognized with numerous awards, including Top Forward, Top Scorer, and Player of the Game.

We are confident that Jeremy’s expertise, enthusiasm, and commitment to excellence will greatly benefit the Avalon Celtics Minor Hockey Association. His vision for player development and his ability to foster a positive and motivating environment align perfectly with our goals.
