Hockey NL Would Like to Congratulate & Recognize, Ethan Power – Official of the Month, December

Congratulations to Ethan Power (Avalon Celtics Minor) who has been selected as one of our Officials of the Month for December.  Ethan was nominated by his Local RIC Mark Noseworthy who had great things to say about his work.

“Ethan has been officiating for three years and is a grade 11 student who plays High School and is also an AP for Junior. Ethan makes himself available where possible to do games during the week and is always willing to help out the younger officials when needed. Because of his high level of play as a player, Ethan understands the game very well. Through his very proficient skating skills and his overall understanding of the game and steady demeanor, Ethan is able to apply these key fundamentals in becoming an accomplished official. Ethan always wants to know how he is doing and asks all the right questions to learn the game and make himself a better official. Ethan continues to grow with experience, and is always looking forward to the next challenge to officiate a higher level of hockey when the opportunity presents itself. With his understanding of the game and his keen attention to detail, Ethan will continue to develop into a strong member of our team.” Mark Noseworthy, Referee in Chief, Avalon Celtics.

Congratulations Ethan and Good Luck with the Rest of your Season!
