Provincial Team Interest/Registration

Hello #CelticsHockeyNation!

This is a call for interest to all of our MCHL players who would like to take part in Provincials on Easter week. We are hoping to ice a U11C, U13C, U15B, U18A, and U18B team for this years provincial tournaments (pending numbers/certified coaches). Registration link will be listed below. Please read all information before registering.

Important Information:

  1. Tryouts and/or player evaluation format will be based on interest/numbers. Teams may be picked from in-game evaluation, a tryout session(s) or a combination of both.
  2. Only MCHL players can register (All-star teams will already be placed in a provincial tournament)
  3. U13 and U18 Tournaments will be hosted on April 1-3. U11 and U15 Tournaments will be hosted on April 4-6.
  4. Tournament locations are still TO BE DETERMINED. This means that a tournament could be anywhere on the island, so players registering must be willing to travel if necessary. Teams will likely be picked before locations are determined. Please take this into consideration before registering.
  5. There will be additional fees associated with All provincial team members (amount TBD. Based on ice time, potential travel, tournament registration fees etc)
  6. Coaches who are interested in being part of a provincial team must also express interest and ensure that all coaching credentials are up to date as per the link below. Please note that multiple emails have been sent throughout the season and course offerings may be limited. There will be no exceptions when it comes to Provincials, and we will need certified coaches in order to ice a team! Please Register by Tuesday, December 19 12:00pm. Tryouts and/or Evaluation information will be posted once numbers are finalized. We are aiming to start as early as January 2.
