It is a sad day in #CelticsHockeyNation as we share the news of the passing of Mr. Aiden Craig, Past-President, Avalon Minor Hockey Association.

Aiden passed away on August 7 2022, peacefully at home.  On behalf of AMHA, we send deepest condolences to Aiden’s large circle of family and friends.

Aiden contributed greatly to our Association over many years as Hockey & Goalie Dad, Volunteer, Builder, Director, and President.  Aiden served as President up to 2018 and during his tenure helped AMHA successfully navigate through some very daunting challenges.  Aiden’s leadership helped AMHA grow its membership base, secure its future, and embolden the unique Avalon Celtics culture we know and embrace today.

Aiden was a great asset to the Avalon Celtics, approaching all tasks with his calm, thoughtful demeanour and always with a side serving of good humor.

Aiden will be sadly missed by family, friends, the NL minor hockey community, and all who knew him.

Rest in Peace Aiden.
