The Avalon Minor Hockey Association will be hosting teams from all over the metro area to the DF Barnes Arena for Christmas tournament hockey this year as we host the Avalon Celtics/NL Growlers 2021 U11 Christmas Classic from Dec.22-Dec.31. We will also be hosting the Avalon Celtics DF Barnes Holiday Tournament from Dec.29-31 for the U13 Division.

The U11 Tournament will feature TWENTY EIGHT teams from all over the metro region. The music will be blasting, the games will be lit and there will be great prizes for all teams. The schedule for this event will be released later this week and game results and standings will be reported through our Team Snap system!! Games for this division will begin on Dec.22 and all teams will play at least one game before Santa Claus comes!! All teams play three round robin games and will set the stage for the quarter final, semi final and Championship Games!!

The U13 tournament will get underway on Dec.29th after the skates are sharpened and the turkey has settled away!! This tournament will feature teams from the Celtics, CBR Renegades and Mt.Pearl Blades. All teams will play three round robin games to determine who makes the semi final on New Years Eve!! (Don’t worry, all games will be played before the evening begins!!)
