We are pleased to provide an updated list of group times and lists of players trying out for this year’s Avalon Celtics U11 All Stars.

Please read all of the information listed below explaining the tryout process for this year.

At this time it is our intention to have two teams in the DJHL U11 Division for the upcoming season. That being said, this decision will not be made until the tryout times listed below are completed.

At that time a group will be selected to compete in the Paradise Invitational Tournament next weekend and this tournament will be used to finalize the Avalon Celtics U11 ‘A’ team.

A decision will also be made at this time if we will be icing a ‘B’ team in the DJHL for this upcoming season. That decision will be made based on the recommendation from the evaluators and the AMHA Technical Director based on what they see during the tryouts.  If the decision is made that we will ice a ‘B’ team in the DJHL, further sessions will be scheduled to finalize the selection of the ‘B’ team. If not, then all players not selected for the Paradise tournament will be assigned to the Recreational program for the season.

All times posted below will take place at Feildian Gardens, 244B Pennywell Road.

For these practice sessions all players (except GOALIES) will be assigned jerseys to wear to practices.  Please make sure you wear the correct jersey number and colour assigned to you!

The jersey colour you wear in practice is the team you will play on for the games.  After these first two practices each player will play in two scrimmage games.

Monday October 4 @ 4:30 – White vs. Blue
Tuesday October 5 @ 6:00 – Green vs White
Wednesday October 6 @ 6:30 – Blue vs. Green
