It was the tightest of games at the U13 level in the Avalon Celtics Recreational Championship Sunday at the Feildian Gardens as the Avalon Blue Thunder just got by the Avalon Hotshots for the title by a score of 1-0!!

Both teams goaltenders were the stars of the game today with Hunter Dalley doing what he could for the Hotshots and Jack Drover and Preston Kelly leading the Blue Thunder to the Gold medals!! John Doyle was the only player for either team that could solve the goalies mastery of the affair with his game winning goal at the 9:55 mark of the second period.

Big congratulations to the players and coaches of the Blue Thunder!! Thanks to all our U13 player and coaches for a great season during this wacky 2020/21 campaign!! All the best over the summer and we hope to see you all again next year here at the Avalon Celtics!!
