The Avalon Flying Elbows channelled the ghost of the Macho Man Randy Savage and emerged as champions on Sunday in U15 play at the Feildian Gardens over the Celtics Rink Masters. It was Liam King’s spectacular rush with just 2:08 left to play notching the only goal of the game and securing the U15 Championship for his squad. Both Harrison Hiscock and Luke McGrath were literally unbeatable in the game before Kings winning goal. The Celtics Rink Masters played a fine game and almost took the Flying Elbows to overtime for the second straight day as the Elbows just got by the Sharpshooters a day earlier in the semi finals.

Congratulations to all our U15 teams on a great season and big ups to the Elbows for taking the title!! We hope all our players enjoy the summer and we will see you all again next season!!
