In what was easily the best hockey game played at the Feildian Gardens this entire season the Celtics Scavengers held onto to outlast the Avalon Destroyers by a score of 3-2 to take the Avalon Celtics U18 Championship on Tuesday.

Ryan Holwell wore the hero hat on this night and carried his squad with all the offence for the winners including the game winner and hat trick goal with only 2:13 left to play. Luke Sullivan and Carter Stratton replied for the Destroyers in this spirited affair. Both the Destroyers Jacob Kirby and Scavengers Sam Chaulk were sensational between the pipes as both teams emptied the tank trying to dent the twine!!

Congrats to the Scavengers on the title and hats off to all our U18 players on making the most of this challenging but yet successful season for the AMAH U18 program!!

A special thank you to all our graduating U18 players. The Celtics will miss you and we wish you nothing but the best wherever your future takes you. For everyone else we will see you next season!!
