The time has finally come for the Avalon Celtics Squirt/Novice division to hit the ice at the Yetman Arena this weekend!!

Here are the groups and times for this weekends Avalon Celtics Squirt/Novice House League Evaluations. We will use these sessions to evaluate players and then place them on teams and practice groups for the following week.  All players will be placed on a team and a practice group!!

Please try to arrive at the arena at least ten to fifteen minutes before your scheduled time to allow for the evaluators and coaches to make sure they have all players accounted for for the evaluations.

All this weekend sessions are at the Yetman Arena on 45 Bonaventure Avenue.

Next Wednesday we will publish the teams and practice groups for this season and times for next weekend. Please note these will be subject to change for balancing. We cannot accommodate player requests to play with one another although we will try to honour them if possible!!

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THESE ARE ONLY RANDOM GROUPINGS FOR THIS WEEKEND! THERE WILL BE MANY VARYING LEVELS OF SKILLS IN THE GROUPS THIS WEEKEND. THE GOAL IS TO PLACE SIMILAR SKILLED PLAYERS INTO PRACTICE GROUPS IRREGARDLESS OF AGE BEGINNING NEXT WEEKEND AND ALSO PLACE CHILDREN ONTO TEAMS FOR NEXT WEEKEND AS WELL. 

MOST FIVE AND SIX YEAR OLDS WILL PLAY SQUIRT WITH A NUMBER OF SEVEN YEAR OLDS AS WELL. THE MAJORITY OF SEVEN YEAR OLDS AND ALL EIGHT YEAR OLDS WILL PLAY NOVICE! BOTH SQUIRT AND NOVICE RECEIVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF ICETIME THROUGHOUT THE SEASON FROM THE AVALON CELTICS!!

Beginning the week of October 19th practices will all be at the Yetman Arena and all games will be at the St.Bons Forum for both Novice and Squirt. Both divisions get the same amount of practice and game ice time!!
