Avalon Minor Hockey Association – Notice of AGM & Election of Officers

The Avalon Minor Hockey Association (AMHA) will hold its Annual General Meeting and Election of Officers as follows;

Date: Tuesday September 10 2024
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: Royal Canadian Legion, 66 The Blvd, St. John’s

In order for us to record attendance and to plan room size, we request that members RSVP by Sunday, September 8 2024. 

Please refer to By Laws Notice of Motion that will be tabled at the commencement of the AGM.

An Election of Officers will take place for the following positions (2 year term);

 

President
Secretary/ Registrar

An Election of Officers will take place for the following positions (1 year term);
VP Recreational Hockey

Subject to the passing of proposed amendments to By Law 4.3, an Election of Officers will take place for the following positions (2 year term);

Director – U7 & U9 Hockey
Director – U11 & U13 Hockey
Director – U15 & U18 Hockey
Director – Girls Hockey

Should the proposed amendments to By Law 4.3 be defeated, an Election of Officers will take place for the following positions (2 year term);

Any member interested in running for a position is invited to submit a Nomination Form by Tuesday September 3 2024.
