Hickman Motors Avalon Coaches Seminar Announced

The Avalon MInor Hockey Association is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our second Hickman Motors Coaches Seminar this year. We are very fortunate to have a great corporate sponsor like Hickman Motors to be able to offer development opportunities to all of our members and we thank them for thier continued support!!

This year's event will take place at Memorial University from Friday July 31 to Sunday August 2. There will be eight presentations in total for coaches and any other interested persons who wish to attend. There will alos be an on ice session for all participants keying in on goaltending applications for practice. Guest speakers confirmed so far include the following;

Toroto Maple Leafs Scout and Former NHL Coach Mr. Tom Watt
Former Team Canada Coach and current Head Coach and GM of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles Mr. Mario Durocher
Former Team Atlantic Coach and current Head Coach of the Halifax Lions Junior A club Mr. Troy Ryan
Vancouver Canucks Asst. Coach Mr. Darryl Williams
